Guided Bone Harvesting – Safecut®
Unique 3D Guided System for bone harvesting in the mandible
The computer-guided bone harvesting that revolutionizes the procedure by overcoming the difficulties and limitations of traditional techniques.
Today, meeting the aesthetic-functional needs of patients requires a reconstructive therapy to correct implant positioning and perform a prosthetic restoration consistent with the appearance of natural dentition.
The modern approach is based on the use of autologous bone associated with predictable and reproducible regenerative techniques to optimize the aesthetic-functional outcome of the treatment. It is necessary to have a clinical strategy for managing bone deficiencies, from the most limited ones in terms of volume to the most complex ones, as well as following a path whose guiding principles are the predictability and repeatability of the therapeutic outcome.
The phases of the Safecut® Guided Bone Harvesting Procedure
Import the CT scan and intraoral scan into the Safecut® plugin, specially created within the RealGUIDE software. You will have the opportunity to design in detail the osteotomy plans that will then allow the desired bone block to be harvested. These steps will be done with respect to the anatomical and nervous structures present in the mandible, ensuring maximum safety and predictability.
